Meet the Team
Paul Ryan
Chief Executive Officer
Paul brings over two decades of experience building, scaling, and running successful businesses. As co-founder of Campground Booking, he led the company from startup through funding and national expansion to a successful acquisition by Camping World. Following the acquisition, he continued as a leader at Camping World, gaining invaluable experience on both sides of the acquisition process—from building and selling a business to integrating and scaling post-acquisition operations.
As a digital nomad for over a decade, Paul has developed a unique ability to build and run businesses from anywhere. This location-independent approach has given him firsthand experience managing operations across different markets, time zones, and business environments—insights that directly inform how we evaluate and improve the companies we acquire.
Paul holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a Certified Scrum Master. His proven track record of building, scaling, successfully exiting, and managing post-acquisition integration gives him a comprehensive understanding of what business owners need during transition and how to maximize value for all stakeholders.
Heather Ryan, EA
Chief Financial Officer
Heather serves as CFO of Nomad Venture Group and Iowa Fittings Co, bringing deep expertise in financial operations, strategic planning, and business management. As an Enrolled Agent and Certified Tax Strategy Coach, she has spent over a decade helping business owners optimize their operations, improve profitability, and build sustainable growth systems.
Through her firm Tax Queen LLC, Heather has advised hundreds of small business owners nationwide across diverse industries. As a digital nomad, she's built and managed businesses from locations across the country, gaining invaluable perspective on how businesses operate in different markets and economic environments. This mobility has sharpened her ability to identify operational efficiencies and growth opportunities regardless of geography.
Heather's unique background combines technical acumen (BA in Computer Science) with hands-on entrepreneurship—from running a pastry business to building a photography company to scaling a nationwide tax advisory firm. This diverse operational experience gives her an exceptional ability to understand what makes businesses thrive across industries and business models.
